SOCIETY DAY AT PACHESHAM - 16TH JULY

Dear All,
The next Society Day is due to take place on Saturday 16th July with tee-times from 9:00am over two rounds of 5 holes each.
The competition will take the form of a Fourball/Betterball for teams of 2 players playing off full Society handicaps using Stableford scoring.
Each player in the team will be able to nominate their own “joker” hole where points will be doubled.
In addition there will be a restriction of clubs, where each player can only use 7 clubs ( half set) includes putter.
So in this competition each player within the team will play their own ball throughout the round and accumulate their own score. The team score will be made up of the higher of the two scores for each hole.
The usual array of super prizes will be on offer for the top two or three teams (depending on turnout) plus additional prizes for nearest the pin and longest drive.
The competition will be free to normal members, FREE for Society Day members and £5 for guests.
Please let Derek Seymour ( derekseymour@virginmedia.com ) and Mike Parsons ( mp003c4366@blueyonder.co.uk ) know if you are going to play as soon as possible and by Monday 11^th at the latest.
