Three Raynes Park teams entered the Shooting Stars/Chase Hospice Charity golf tournament on 14 April at Foxhills. This was a challenging course made more so by the greenkeeper hollow-tining the greens the day before. There were a some notable performances - Peter Nicholls won nearest the pin, Mark Leyland won best score of the day with 43 stableford points and Alan Patrick won a tennis racquet in the 'heads and tails' competition. Over £13,000 was raised on the day for two very worthwhile charities.
